The Erin community dates back to the early 1800s
The Town of Erin does not have trash pickup. You must contract with Waste Management 262-251-9560, Advanced Disposal 262-367-6040 or Choice Disposal 920-626-2200 for garbage pickup.
The Town of Hartford has joined together with Erin for Recycling. Their recycling center is open Thursdays 2:00p.m. – 6:00p.m. & Saturdays 8:00a.m. – 12:00p.m. (noon). They are located at 3360 County Hwy K, Hartford. They can give you a brochure as to what they will accept.
The Town does not have brush pickup. The Town does have a brush only recycling at 2291 State Hwy 83. It is open the 2nd Saturday of the month April – November, 8:00a.m. – 12:00p.m. (noon) or by calling Dave at 262-673-3702 for an appointment. Only brush is accepted.
White Goods and Tire recycling
Each spring on a Saturday in April the town has a white goods and tire recycling. April 8, 2017 8:00a.m. - noon will be the only event this year.
Washington County occasionally does have a CLEAN SWEEP for hazardous waste. Contact the Washington County Highway Department at 414-335-4435.
Christmas Tree drop off
Please watch the website and newspaper for Christmas tree drop off at the town hall. It is usually in early January.
